Ap\u00f3s a Ascens\u00e3o do Senhor, no \u00faltimo fim de semana, recordamos as palavras de Jesus sobre suas promessas, com rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao Esp\u00edrito Santo e sua presen\u00e7a no seio da Igreja, enquanto Cristo governa a cria\u00e7\u00e3o, do alto, junto ao Pai.<br \/>\nNa 1\u00aa Leitura, S\u00e3o Paulo deixa evidenciada a import\u00e2ncia da presen\u00e7a do Esp\u00edrito Santo, para nossa f\u00e9. A\u00ed encontrou alguns disc\u00edpulos e perguntou-lhes:\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-style: inherit\"><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">2<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">\u201cV\u00f3s recebestes o Esp\u00edrito Santo quando abra\u00e7astes a f\u00e9?\u201d Eles responderam: \u201cNem sequer ouvimos dizer que existe o Esp\u00edrito Santo!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><strong style=\"font-style: inherit\">3<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">Ent\u00e3o Paulo perguntou: \u201cQue batismo v\u00f3s recebestes?\u201d Eles responderam: \u201cO batismo de Jo\u00e3o\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-style: inherit\"><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">4<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">Paulo disse-lhes: \u201cJo\u00e3o administrava um batismo de convers\u00e3o, dizendo ao povo que acreditasse naquele que viria depois dele, isto \u00e9, em Jesus\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-style: inherit\"><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">5<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">Tendo ouvido isso, eles foram batizados no nome do Senhor Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><strong style=\"font-style: inherit\">6<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">Paulo imp\u00f4s-lhes as m\u00e3os e sobre eles desceu o Esp\u00edrito Santo. Come\u00e7aram ent\u00e3o a falar em l\u00ednguas e a profetizar.\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-style: inherit\"><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">7<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">Ao todo, eram uns doze homens.\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-style: inherit\"><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">8<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">Paulo foi ent\u00e3o \u00e0 sinagoga e, durante tr\u00eas meses, falava com toda convic\u00e7\u00e3o, discutindo e procurando convencer os ouvintes sobre o reino de Deus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><strong>Salmo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><strong style=\"font-style: inherit\">\u2014\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">Reinos da terra, cantai ao Senhor.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u00a0\u2014\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">Eis que Deus se p\u00f5e de p\u00e9, e os inimigos se dispersam! Fogem longe de sua face os que odeiam o Senhor! Como a fuma\u00e7a se dissipa, assim tamb\u00e9m os dissipais, como a cera se derrete, ao contato com o fogo, assim pere\u00e7am os in\u00edquos ante a face do Senhor!<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u2014\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">Mas os justos se alegram na presen\u00e7a do Senhor; rejubilam satisfeitos e exultam de alegria! Cantai a Deus, a Deus louvai, cantai um salmo a seu nome! O seu nome \u00e9 Senhor: exultai diante dele!<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u2014\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">Dos \u00f3rf\u00e3os ele \u00e9 pai, e das vi\u00favas protetor; \u00e9 assim o nosso Deus em sua santa habita\u00e7\u00e3o. \u00c9 o Senhor quem d\u00e1 abrigo, d\u00e1 um lar aos deserdados, quem liberta os prisioneiros e os sacia com fartura.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Evangelho<\/strong><br \/>\n<span>Naquele tempo,\u00a0<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">29<\/span><\/strong><span>os disc\u00edpulos disseram a Jesus: \u201cEis, agora falas claramente e n\u00e3o usas mais figuras.<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">30<\/span><\/strong><span>Agora sabemos que conheces tudo e que n\u00e3o precisas que algu\u00e9m te interrogue. Por isto cremos que vieste da parte de Deus\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">31<\/span><\/strong><span>Jesus respondeu: \u201cCredes agora?\u00a0<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">32<\/span><\/strong><span>Eis que vem a hora \u2013 e j\u00e1 chegou \u2013 em que vos dispersareis, cada um para seu lado, e me deixareis s\u00f3. Mas eu n\u00e3o estou s\u00f3; o Pai est\u00e1 comigo.\u00a0<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-weight: inherit;font-style: inherit\">33<\/span><\/strong><span>Disse-vos estas coisas para que tenhais paz em mim. No mundo, tereis tribula\u00e7\u00f5es. Mas tende coragem!
